Great Game to play with yo mama or daddy !

E:D could be one of the best space sims out there, since it gets the Space Stuff done extremly well.
Visuals, Sounds and Physics are on point.

But the balancing or playable content for that matter in this game are absolute trash.
Progressing in E:D is an absolute ridiculous and tedious grind, made 10x times worse by the fact that the most boring and grindy missions payout the best, you will find yourself doing those braindead mission tens of hours just so you can unlock better stuff just to have some ... fun.

An example is the current combat vs delivery/passenger payout, doing any kind of combat in E:D is accompanied by a lot risk, the ai will fly almost flawlessly dishing out perfect hits with amazing maneuverability, one small error could lead to your destruction possibly setting you back millions. Yet Combat pays very little and is very time consuming, not even mentioning the initial investment of buying a combat ship and outfitting it with combat gear.

And then we have delivery/passenger/cargo/*insert the same activity under a different name here* missions which is you having to literally just fly to a target hauling some stuff and sometimes back, ... no really thats it, im not kidding.
It requires very little investment and is so uneventful that you can go afk for a few minutes pour a coffee and watch some netflix just coming back to dock to a station to repeat this nightmare.


To make matters worse Frontier recently nerfed the payout for some of those missions so you can "enjoy" more of doing nothing, just to reach the fun bits of the game.
