I liked The Watcher more than Downpour.

Downpour felt to much like the base game (Until you got to the new exclusive areas) and the increased difficulty only emphasized some of the bad parts of rainworld (getting killed from off screen, enemies poping out of pipes you cant use etc.) Only the Saint really stands out as being unique to me.

The Watcher starts in the old game and seems like its just another Rainworld playthrough but once you leave the vanilla game i dont think you can go back. From there its new areas with new creatures/mechanics. The story telling is more direct than Vanilla, not to say it makes any more sense.

Its good if you like to go fast. Hits the same feeling as a good bunny hoping/rocket jumping game but with its own mechanics.

Out of bound is lame AF right now. Most of the high scores dont play the game as fast as possible, they play as little of the game as possible.

Its alright.

It makes you FEEL like Rain World.

Played during the early playtests. Bought it in early access. Still enjoying the game now that its on steam.
Its not a fighting game.
Its not a dungeon crawler.
Its not a casual game.
