Genuinely such a fun game. Very simple, yet has so many small details for the lighting etc. Could be fun as a top down shooter. R6 top down?

Very toxic. Old simple mechanics, fun to play if you have friends and mute everyone else. Over time really gets you to become more toxic, younger ones will start to blend in and become devil children that need to be whooped. Fun for a while, will ♥♥♥♥ your life up. If you might have even a little of a problem with gambling, do everyone and yourself a favor and stay away. GL

Incredible game, those who tell you otherwise simply didn't put in enough time to appreciate this game. Once you learn the game and its maps, this game becomes really fun. This games doesn't get old, because games depends completely on your strategy skill, and team communication. Its one of those games that you can always improve on. Ive played this game for over 800 hours now, and I still learn things I never knew about, making the game that much more interesting. 100% recommend, whoever I would probably discourage you from buying the Starter Edition. Spend another 20 bucks worth a week of coffee and you will be able to unlock the operators that much more quickly. With starter edition, you earn a lot less, and get neglected and almost purposely targeted to make unhappy. The devs at one point gave everyone the base ops, except those who had starter edition. Starter is just a rip off from the fun, I still greatly enjoy the game with starter, but it really does make it seem like the devs dont care about you. Dont let this negative annoyances discourage you from buying it, put in time to understand the game, and you will greatly enjoy it!

Very slow gameplay game, If you are a fast paced human being, most of us being these days, might not be the best game. This is one of those games where it becomes popular for a while, and then quickly dies out. This game definetely has potential to be great. Lots of features, however, is not new player friendly, expect to be on the wiki and game chat looking for how to's for the first few hours of learning. I will say I only have 15 hours in this game, but after a while it becomes lonely and boring due to not knowing what to do next. You sit at your house, debating what you should do next, looking at videos to find out, than spending the next few hours trying to figure out how and where to get the resources needed. Expect long boring walks for the resources, some taking 15 minutes to walk across the map to get a small piece of resource , due to limit of weight before walking back. Will be truthful, haven't been on the game for a few months now, maybe its gotten better. You be the judge, was it worth the $40 though? Absolutely not, plenty of other cheaper games that offer a beter more user friendly experience

This game is overall fun with some exceptions that I will list. If you are deciding to buy this game, have a good computer. This game takes a lot of power to run on good settings. I have a 1050ti and AMD fx 8350 and I can only manage medium settings with occasional lag(So you probably need a powerful CPU). If you do have limited time on your hands, this game might not be for you. It takes a lot of time to get a lot of things done, however you can play on modded. I would play on x20 and find myself not having enough time after the first few days. Solo is managable but playing with friends tripples the fun. One thing I found hard was looking for someone to play with, I do rememeber someone telling me there is a form for that, but I guess i never got to it. Very fun game, but difficult as well. Expect to die 20 times from Sarcos and Raptors when trying to first setup(Spawn on west for the most passive area, although still occasional feasts)Once again if you do have time and detication it is a very fun game to play, but it will take a lot of your time to get little done. Another thing is play PVE, PVP is aggressive, but I dont believe this game's mechanics is really optimized for pvp. People would raid me as soon as i setup because i wrote 3 words in global chat. Would suggest going on a server with "Classic Flyers Mod" which brings back the speed upgrade to flying dinos, as it is so much more time consumpting going 5 miles an hour, having to fly across the map for materials to craft a grappling hook gun, or whatever else you need. I will warn there are very long loading screens, some may take over an hour depending on your computer speed, and whether it is your first time loading in to that server or not. Modded servers pose many problems to join as well with failure to download mods before it times out, corrupting the download. This at time can cause you a whole day to figure out and fix. Best way to avoid it is to find all the server's mods, download them fully before joining the server, and once they are done, join. Long review yes, but hopefully it helps someone to decide and not have to look over 100 reviews to get some of the questions answered.

This is going to be a bit to read, but its a thorough view of the effect of the game on life. After having over 2000+ hours on this game, and having a long term understanding of what this game is, and how it affects your life, I have decided to update my older review. Let me start off by saying if you value your time, social life, and overall good mood, stay away. This game is plagued by nothing but toxic players who sit on this game all day and harass new players. This game takes a massive grind to achieve minimal checkpoints, which will be taken away by people who are better. There will always be someone better than you. The kill on sight toxic players on this game are either really young kids, or older people who are just not successful in any parts of their lives. You will waste hours and hours of time on this game, feel like ♥♥♥♥ the rest of the day after spending hours on looting to be raided, and called a bunch of random words. Toxicity doesn't phase me, but the excess sure isn't good for mental health. Im embarrassed that I have this many hours, and as soon as I ditched this game, I found that I was able to become a better person overall. I became less hostile, made new actual friends, and starting taking up other hobbies. I simply replaced this game with something less time consuming, like COD. The amount of influence that this game had on my personal life was way over the limit. If you are young, Do Not Buy The Game. If you are just looking to have fun for a few days with your friends, go ahead.
