By far the worst DLC PDX has ever released in my opinion. That goes for all their GSG titles as well, this DLC actively makes the subcontinent much worse to play in terms of gameplay, fun factor, and historical accuracy. They also just ignored fixing ANYTHING until the FOLLOWING DLC!! I rag on PDX DLC a lot but vic 3 by far has the worst team in Paradox ngl.

Servers are great I'll say that, but my god the matchmaking just puts me on teams with 0 people willing to heal or tank so I'll swap but nobody else does.... Is it impossible to pair people who commonly play certain different roles together? Also some of these heroes are so blatantly and disgustingly overpowered comparatively it's crazy, like Hawkeye and Hela who can 1 shot you with controller autoaim all day. Then there's heroes like Magik who are only good if you have 100 healers or the enemy is trying a monitor off challenge. There's also a gigantic movement gap between some of these heroes which, while thematically awesome, is just frustrating gameplay wise. Ill use Luna Snow for example, she literally just has a sprint after not doing anything for like 2-3 seconds, compared to venom spiderman iron man and others just flying around the map. How can Magik ever even touch Iron Man when her dash goes 3 feet and she attacks slower than a particularly dense sloth?

Then you reach the fact that most if not nearly every character in this game has abilities or mechanics pulled STRAIGHT and DIRECTLY from Overwatch. Straight up replica, copy and paste. Psylocke is basically Genji with hand crossbows instead of shurikens (but she also has shurikens she uses dw). Magneto is the exact same as that gravity shielding guy. Iron Man is legit just Pharah but slightly modified. Punisher is Soldier 76 on roids. Hulk has Winston mechanics, which like ok I get that, this actually tracks. Hawkeye has almost the same mechanics as old Hanzo... I can understand the similarities but they made him even mechanically and functionally almost the same. Peni Parker is actually pretty innovative and cool though!

All of this, and the devs are still employing deceptive and greedy money making tactics, like offering a 1k premium currency option for 10 dollars and then making the battle pass cost 1050 so you HAVE to buy more to get the battlepass. You don't even get half of the cost of a battlepass from completing the entire thing either, less than a third in fact.

TL;DR servers are great but the game itself is horrifically unbalanced and a total ripoff of Overwatch, as well as scummy/greedy pricing.

Honestly not worth $40, many mechanics and intricacies of the first Sins were omitted in favor of the game being streamlined and unbalanced. Titans are NOWHERE close to being built the same, some are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and some are insanely overpowered (think being able to solo a whole fleet alone if its not specifically built to kill the titan), many basic ships lost abilities that made them unique such as antimatter detonation.

That being said, there's a lot of other things that're solid. I like the exotic resource system, the graphics are definitely a step up. Performance is surprisingly good even with a massive amount of ships in a system. I like the uniqueness of Vasari and TEC now as well (altho primacy/alliance are kinda turbo op broken), but Advent seems very lackluster aside from having good basic ships. I really enjoy having so many minor factions in maps, and the influence system is cool. They should expand them and offer more content about them! Planet slots are awesome and add more of a feeling of power to having big planets, making them more important. Need more artifacts and planetary modifiers as well. Just need more of the good stuff!

So my friend bought me this game and honestly it's more fun than I expected! It's a lot like palworld if it had a lot of quests and was set in kingdom come deliverance style graphics. Unlike Palworld though theres a decent amount of direction and a main story quest in this. I did crash a couple times, this is DEFINITELY early access, but overall pretty dang fun so far! Crafting needs to be better though, should be able to have multiple people craft at once to speed things up.

Tbh, not worth. Maybe if it was 10 bucks, but they couldn't even make the effort to give Ajam and Timurids a more cohesive/functional mission tree before their nation formations. Ardabil is borderline unplayable and requires good starting rng with alliances. Georgia and Armenia are cool for 1 run and then never again. Persia content is cool but feels very very mid/late game oriented which is kinda meh. Byzantium is amazing, and haven't tried the mamluks yet.

TL:DR byzantiums gr8, rest needs to be cooked more and Ajam/Timmies trees weren't touched. Cringe.

Garbage DLC, just adds some new journal entries and special "bonapartist" "legitimist" traits for characters. Funny part is, even though restoring the napoleonic monarchy is a big fantasy point for many france players, you cant even restore it currently because theres no bonapartist that spawns (at least by 1852 there wasnt in my run) to rally behind!

15 bucks for what, journal entries?

EDIT: I did another france run and louis-napoleon bonaparte spawned in 1841, so apparently its randomized when he comes back.
Even so, 15 dollars for some agitators and journal entries? really? a modder could do more in 1-2 days than this entire STUDIO does in months. Crazy isnt it.

No idea why the reviews are mixed tbh, this game is fun as hell. Of course it has its small annoyances but the vast majority of the time everything has run smoothly. Optimization isnt the greatest, but this isn't a competitive pvp game where having perfect fps matters. I can run 60+ almost always and sometimes it drops to around 30 in massive hordes on low/med settings with 1660 ti + 9600k (not that great of a setup) which is fine. Vermintide 2 wasnt any different at the beginning lol.

To be quite blunt, the biggest problem i've had with the game so far is the god awful ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ teammates i've been getting almost every run and the lack of ogryns in general (i can kinda understand, being the big bullet sponge is rough in early lvls before u get ur shield and other defensive perks), ie most of these 30-40 year old casual ass negative reviewers.

Mods like Road to 56, Kaiserredux, Milennium dawn, old world blues etc make single player awesome. MP is sweaty and unbalanced in general, but single player or just games with friends who are having fun not competing is pretty damn fun.

Reviews said it was a better version of Mordhau. Actually just a worse version of Mordhau with tacked on progression just to farm playtime metrics. Game wasn't too laggy, but hit reg and collision just felt off, the class based abilities and their cooldowns weren't that cool at all.
