Oh hi. Are you a StS diehard? do you love the abject perfection that is the Slay the spire roguelike deckbuilder flow? Do you also love a good story and also sci fi ♥♥♥♥? did you like FTL?

here you go. This game is a delight. My only comment is i hope they make a mobile version.

Cobalt core takes StS and adds elements to it that turn it into a game that feels both familiar while containing multitudes of fun dynamics to learn. I'm excited to keep diving in, and it's a steal for the price, especially compared to Aaa titles. well done, gang.

Who doesn't want to ♥♥♥♥ with Lo-fi vampire hoards with a Risk of Rain 1 vibe?
for only $3?
This is one of my new favorites, especially on Steamdeck. Super fun, easy to get into.

Best single player card game of all time.

Sometimes i play this in VR using virtual desktop for no reason. I play it at home, i play it on my phone. Every game is a new experience. It really pushes you to think outside the box and look for new paths forward every time.

Early Access Review
Came for the Rock, Stayed for the stone.

If anything, do it for Karl.

Catchphrases aside, this has been *by far* my favorite early access game. The devs are amazing, their roadmap is amazing, and they're agile AF. They've put together a really great and unique mix of gameplay elements that make it a freakin' blast to play with your buds.

This makes vermintide look like a really grindy rat exterminator simulator (well, more than it does on its own already).

If you like seeing red shirts die, this game is for you.

This game is part tai chi, part Matrix.

I've accidentally punched someone in the face playing this.

Great stealth dynamic and super fun to play. Great art style and animation as well. Would instantly buy a sequel or more DLC.

Abzu's all about the journey (pun intended).

With gaming being riddled with tasks, quests, and achievements, it's really nice to be able to switch off and enjoy a beautiful experience. Playing Abzu is almost meditative, and not in a boring way. It's immersive, stunning, and cinematic. Austin Wintory's score is superb. Abzu might be one of the most therapeutic games I've played in a while. Well done, guys.

It feels like 1993 again. All I want to do is go home and play DOOM.

ID and Bethesday bludgeoned this game out of the park. It's a sexy cronenburg-sque satanic violence quinceanera.

It's satisfying and perfectly walks the line between nostalgic and modern.

Really great atmospheric exploration/ first person puzzle platformer. Part Journey, part antichamber, this game has a sense of scale that few can match. The ending was a bit meh, but getting there is something else.

The Steam controller is one of the most powerful gamine peripherals in recent memory, and it's due to Valve's innovative approach to both the design of the hardware as well as how it integrates into steam.

This is the most programmable/flexible/customizable controller out there. Is there a learning curve? Sure. But It reminds me of the old motto for "Othello": A minute to learn, a lifetime to master.

The sheer combination of input types is staggering. And the fact that Valve has made game-specific mappings saveable AND shareable to the rest of the ecosystem really makes it stand out and gives us a great glimpse into how our PCMR bretheren use the peripheral.

Cheers to Valve for taking a risk and creating something so innovative. I'm a fan.
