This has been one of the most nostalgic experiences so far and there's still more to go. I used to replay Achievement Unlocked 2 ALL the time, trying to play it all in one sitting back in the day. Seeing everything again laid out with some developer commentary has been an absolute joy. If you loved these games before then this is absolutely for you. Thanks for making such a huge piece of my childhood and probably being the reason why I'm addicted to achievement hunting in every game I play lol

Edit: Just 100%ed the game and I'm actually crying from how happy this made me. There's nothing more to do but keep this game in my back pocket and replay it from time to time like I've always done. Thank you John and everyone involved in creating this series that I love so deeply. Thank you.

Super simple but super fun!

I absolutely LOVE this game! It may seem simple on the outside but the simplicity lends itself to the perfectly addicting game loop. Took me about 4 hours and 10 individual runs to 100% the game, but I'll probably end up playing it for another 4+ hours after the fact. Absolutely love it!

Editing to mention that the majority of negative reviews haven't given enough time to the game to get to the point where you literally become a god of destruction. Around the 2-3 hour mark of time in game you're able to start doing significant damage, and if you choose the right routes with your upgrades then by the 30 minute point of a round you can practically take your hands off the keyboard and let the game run itself. As for my experience the difficulty spikes were well balanced and designed to make you rethink your strategy after each round.

After playing some more, you can actually just sit there if you play it right by the time you get to 10 minutes into a round. And also the game crashed on me at 59:30 because I was killing too many enemies too quickly. Thought my pc was about to die lmao

Despite it's many.. many flaws, it was fun as hell to play.

Died at 99.86% of the board cleared after an hour of playing and then cried the rest of the night.

10/10, love this game.

Huge nostalgia for all these games, so fun to get the achievements for them now!

This game. HOLY THIS GAME. I have played more horror games than I could count, and watched 20 times as many horror games be played on YouTube, but this game is somethin else. This game gave me the most terrifying experience I've had in years, more than any other game, movie, or video I've seen or played. Then when I died on my first attempt, my second run through I was able to really appreciate some details, joke around at the calmer points and have a great time making it back to where I died, still getting scared even the second time through! If you're into VR wave shooters and VR horror, I cannot recommend this enough.

This game is basically like Beat Saber, but for your legs. The song selection is absolutely outstanding, and the feeling you get while bobbing and weaving to avoid bullets, returning fire to the beat, and satisfyingly shattering your enemies with each shot makes you feel like an absolute bad ass! Highly recommended (just don't make the mistake I made and not stretch your legs before your first few play sessions)!

This is genuinely one of the most immersive VR games I have played thus far. Sure I get some motion sickness playing it (it takes quite a lot to get me motion sick btw (heed this as a warning if you get motion sick easily)), but the utter immersion I feel is unparalleled. An absolutely stupendous game to get during the Steam sale, and may be a TAD expensive at its normal price. But honestly that's my only complaint (if you can even call it one)! 100% recommended!
