PROS:
-Good amount of content, interesting new portal system and amazingly made new maps. Absolutely love the flying grove one.
-The items all have an interesting twist. While some of them aren't that much useful right off the bat there's a lot of cool new interactions to be discovered.
-Music is extremely good, as expected.
-The new boss is really interesting with its arena and concepts, bringing new meaning to already existing stuff like the Halcyon seed.
-A bunch of QOL, such as the ability to see an item's full description with a scrapper without having to check from the Logbook.

CONS:
-A lot of the content and a bunch of the old stuff from the base game is now undoubtably broken, a few characters no longer work as intended and certain things are either janky or even gamebreaking/gamecrashing.
-The game settings no longer save, so whenever you restart your game it will reset the audio levels along with other random settings- thankfully the moment you touch them they switch back to normal.
-The new Halcyon "main" pillar enemy, one that you'll start seeing a lot, is extremely janky. Spawns with an animation of 5fps, can throw you out of the map, can hit you multiple times with the same swing in the same frame (instant death at min 3 full hp Loader), then can begin staring into the void for a good 30 seconds before killing itself by running across the map and into an enviromental killbox.
-The new boss arena and concept is as cool as the first time I faced Mithrix, truly sets the mood- but the squishy and oversaturated nature of the boss (fought it while both overbuilt and underbuilt with different characters) makes it hard to have its phases appreciated- and it is for most of the times just a sitting duck just shotgun firing projectiles or lasers, making the collapsing arena never really useful nor used.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
I wish i could post a more positive revie, but after checking Gearbox's socials it seems that their intent was never to release a fully fixed DLC, and considering the release date was never announced until the week before release then it means they probably had some internal delays or conflicts.
It definitely needed some more time in the oven, but considering that the SOTV DLC came out in pristine condition with even more stuff in less time I fear that Gearbox tried to cut budgets wherever it could while trying to keep it good-looking.

I wish giving it a positive review could incite Gearbox to fix the game and continue the legacy, but considering the "Mostly Negative" rating it currently has I'm afraid this will be the final nail in the coffin.
I will change the review to positive if the problems get patched out, hopefully the company will realize the gold mine that is slipping out of their grasp.

Amazing game, Sony killed it.
Not gonna make a console account for a game I play on PC- let alone link my whole Steam account to it.

Go sell your tracking elsewhere Sony, linking accounts for security reasons is like shooting a leg to stop the bleeding.

UPSIDES:

-Gameplay is solid, focused on having weapons feel good: mostly successful.

-Story is fun and interesting, the animations are well-made and it's captivating.

-The in-game animations are also good, along with satisfying crunches and mechanics.

DOWNSIDES:

-60€ game, which is almost dead at the time of posting- and it's multiplayer only. If the playerbase dies, so does your ability to play it. Your call.

-DLCS, battle passes and such in a fully priced triple A game? Do they want me to pay more to shoot dinos between the 15min queues?

-The way the skins are going. CAPCOM seems to be completely not interested in keeping the same quality level as the same models- this is shown by how every new skin which isn't a recolor of the base model is either just the base model + a trinket or a completely stitched togheter job.

I wish the game doesn't lose its identity, because the worldbuilding is amazing along with all the details and quality, but seeing giant teddy bears with 30 polygons right beside a well-crafted world looks like a skin imported from L4D2.

Oh, and the skins don't work in the cinematic cuts btw. When you lose your robot gets teared to pieces, but every skin apart from the base model and recolors simply bugs out- in case the "L4D2 import" joke seemed too far. (Literally get your head eaten, but instead it just stays there).

I've seen free naked loonas with better modularity- not worth the 60€, only get it during discounts under 20€.

Gameplay is good, but the store feels clunky, unresponsive and the items' art is totally different from the game's look.

Hopefully they'll also change their constant need to give item information only halfway. Most items have their duration nicely written down to the second but then throw in a "ah btw this deals X damage based on how much hp you got" and completely forget to say either the scaling, the ratio and the damage it deals with the hp your items give you.

It feels like it's trying to be competitive but focuses less and less on quality of life and more on getting other characters out.
Chill for a few months and smoothen it out, the first player experience is kind of a mess atm.

EDIT:
Game's matchmaking seems worse. Crashes seem to kick you out, but when logging back in you're unable to rejoin ongoing matches and can't abandon them too, completely blocking you from playing the game.

Couldn't get past the first singlelayer mission, game managed to crash 4 times- 2 times while playing, 2 times while loading the mission itself.
I've tried 3 different graphic settings, fullscreen and both the loadouts it offers you.
Promising game, but i'm not gonna spend another half hour trying to do the tutorial.

Secret Word: Greed

A funny way to get someone to think about themselves, even though I believe certain things said at the end were wrong.
Was still fun to play it through, despite it being rather short.

a bit too story-driven, but the mechanics are quite fun when not looking at easy exploits.

Awersome game, if only they fixed the small annoying bugs who take years to be fixed.

Perfect russian learning language. In every server you'll find at least one despite being on the other side of the world.

Game mechanics make the building limitless, but once you overcome the not-so-hard survival aspect of having ice and a mining ship it gets boring.
You build huge ships, complex fighters, efficient mining ships, planet-orbiting refineries and so on, but you quickly reach the point of having nothing else to do.
Mods make this better as I highly suggest cramming 3-4 encounter/buildings generation ones to spice up the gameplay, while instead to balance it out some sort of shield mod so your ship doesn't stop working after each encounter unless you're in lategame.
Mechanics are nice, but vanilla it's just a bad physics simulator with nothing else to do.

Game's a bit buggy at the moment, yet I love the map building and story branches! Really cinematic and the combat's not too bad (even though certain missions might have bullet sponges staggers still work so it's still possible). Loved the game!
