Dark and gritty

Best ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ campaign experience you can find in a game, highly suggest with black ops 1 played first though.

As first impressions go (I obviously am not insanely far in the game) it is poor. Hear me out though, this is an amazing sequel and impressive for surviving its development cycle. The story is well set up however the delivery slightly messes up when it railroads you through certain events and becomes far too cutscene heavy. That being said, when the game opens up and lets you use the parkour, it excels in it. The rooftops are fluid and have very well done areas that flow from one to another. Adding onto this, the skills you unlock further on open it up even further. Combat is improved with the recent additions of more abilities and I find myself enjoying it a lot more than the first game. I enjoy most of the characters and am looking forward to 100%ing (or as close as possible) it in the end.
