The roster in MultiVersus is incredibly creative, but you'll find me hard pressed to say anything else positive about this game.
Micro-transactions and grinding are essentially enforced if you want to have any actual fun. Every new roster member released is broken, overpowered, and they cost double the price of others; Meaning it's literally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pay to win. Plus, if you thought it couldn't get any worse, they also allow you to spend money on upgrading power-ups you use in the Co-op/PVE mode. It's amalgamation of every joke made about out of touch game devs, but real.

Maybe one day they'll address these issues, but I wouldn't count on it.

I hold Elden Ring in an incredibly high regard; The entire team at FromSoft seamlessly melded a mass of different components into one perfect cohesive game. Sadly though, I can't say the same for Shadow Of The Erdtree.

This DLC more than anything focuses on expanding the lore of certain factions and affinities found through-out the base game, and while they succeed at doing so, they miserably fail at the presentation of it all. Both level design and boss move-sets suffer greatly from this, with often no clear direction for the player what so ever.

I had less fun with combat, I had less fun with exploring, and I had less fun with the story. It's good, but just not good enough sadly.

My expectations for PAYDAY 3 were low, but clearly they were not low enough.

PAYDAY 3 gets everything that was great about PAYDAY 2 and somehow soils it and creates what can best be described as a boring experience. It's fun when you're playing with friends and it's you first time playing each heist, but after that you're left with a disk hog. Just buy PAYDAY 2 or rent Heat instead please.

Some of the best games I've ever had the pleasure of playing are financially unsuccessful games with huge cult followings, God Hand and The Mario & Luigi series are prime examples. I was confident that Hi-Fi Rush would be added to that list because of just how much I loved the game and how Bethesda seemingly tried to shadow drop the game into the graveyard that so many other games fall into. But the internet did what it does, and they did good.

Hi-Fi Rush is perfect, not in an exaggerated sense, it's just perfect. It's successful in everything it does and it should be a shining example of what developers should try to create and not replicate. Just play it already, you have nothing to lose and can only have everything to gain from playing it.

Every lobby you join has either hackers, loud children, horrible racists, or just all in one.

I got this game when it was free but for those who are considering buying this game for $20, do yourself a favor and don't. It's plagued with a toxic player base akin to Modern Warfare 2 on release, and a lack of work being done by the developers due to their primary focus being put on creating cosmetics that cost an exorbitant price.

If you don't think you're up for having children that have $60 worth of cosmetics ask you how to spell "banana" so they can join a room, then I seriously recommend against purchasing.

Most games typically are subjectively good. Elden Ring - on the otherhand - is objectively good.

No other game has had quite an impact on me like Elden Ring has. I have been awe struck multiple time throughout my different runs and have somehow found completely new experiences each time. In terms of what is, has been, and what will be done with video games, Elden Ring is a game that I don't expect to be topped ever.

Neon White nearly has it all.

While it misses the mark on the dialogue, it easily makes you forgive it for mistakes with showing you the time of you life. The gameplay and soundtrack are a match made in heaven (no pun intended) and I believe you would be doing yourself an injustice by not playing it, it's unlike any other game.

Early-Access-Rezension
Longvinter lacks the core values to be considered a game, even in early access. The game requires you to grind or have pure luck to make any progress what-so-ever which is deterring to say the least. The prior issue isn't helped when there is no significant information on how to obtain important progression items leaving me having to walk around blindly, searching for any hopes to progress.

There are other minor issues which don't help Longvinter's case such as the fact that the intro song plays at max volume even when you have the music setting low as possible. Or the fact that pressing "1" on your keyboard sets your game to the lowest resolution.

I understand that this game is marked as being in Early Access and that things are still being worked on but this game seems far behind being in Early Access. The ground work has been set for sure but the game truly does need more polish and defined reasoning on why to progress in order to really feel like a game, because as of right now; Longvinter does not feel like a true game.

I don't know how Ghost Ship did it, but they created the perfect game to play with friends.

Deep Rock Galactic somehow beats the expectations you'd have of an online multiplayer game by having a unique experience every single mission, a player base unlike any other, and a soundtrack that kicks major ass. Its one of the few games I can truly say the developers know what they're doing.
