Stop telling me to setup room scale I already did.

The crust and jank is a feature. Great sh1tpostey game that is so much better with the desynced multiplayer that convinces me its haunted.

Big dev companies absolutely floored by a singular furry. The fact it even made it into game of the year nominations really shows how smart and talented the creator is.

Dev also allows and supports mods that really bring out the full potential of this game. Skinwalkers and mimics would make me kill my friends out of fear and panic with a rocket launcher. 9.9/10 too much water.

Someone is wrong here. The beta was mega hype and tons of fun. Was it the fact that nothing carried over from the beta and twenty bucks for skins? Maybe. But even in the way the game feels had changed. The movement. Something stinks in the room.

The destructible environment aspect is the main selling point and is something I very much praise in games that actually have this game changing dynamic. The fact they managed to pull that all off and make it not tank the FPS to 3 is impressive. It's at least optimized well.

I really don't know what happened here. It was really fun at first but not even mods can save this game from becoming more than the nothing burger it is. There are very few reasons to play this over Payday 2.

First impressions are of most importance and this game launched completely unplayable. Everything is severely downgraded or missing from the game before. A sequel should be topping its predecessor. But the only thing that stayed the same was overcharging for everything and now selling pre-order exclusive content. To say the hype for this game was big is a bit of an understatement.

The biggest praise I give here is allowing and supporting mods for the game. Something that almost didn't happen right before release. That's the best thing they did with Payday 3.

Having these cosmetics means nothing anymore. It's near impossible to see cosmetics that had SOME MEANING anymore. All are just a swipe of the credit card. Gone are skins of exclusive nature or earned through insanely difficult challenges. There's no flex or loyalty to something you payed four bucks for.

An improvement over the original if not a little easier and much more forgiving at times. Main hub is lacking.

Fun killer.

But ten bucks for a single killer with nothing else is robbery. I would of never bought this if someone didn't bribe me with $6 to get it.

It's okay. If this game had a savini jason styled leatherface we could of had a really cool hell inspired chainsaw with burning hot embers flying off the molten spinning blades.

It's nowhere near as good as what Friday the 13th did but is a lot prettier looking and a bit more polished.

However the game suffers from balancing issues and perks that are straight up useless or don't even work properly. Quirks that carried over from F13 include things like no lip syncing and invincibility frame jank. To top it all off, the development and updating of this game is questionable with absurd prices for sold DLC.

It's fun. More fun if ya got someone to play it with. But expect a sweat competition as the game is very beginner unfriendly. You will get very lost with many runs required to understand game mechanics. By the time you figure anything out, the match ends.

Long games are not super common but welcomed when encountered.
