Game has some bugs that can be frustrating but overall its an excellent game with a good story. Combat is fun and the atmosphere is great.

F.E.A.R. 3 is a fun shooter with some very minor horror elements and quaint gimmicks. The gunplay isn't the worst nor are the enemies the dumbest. I would imagine in co-op it would be a lot more fun, as there is a competition for points between players. It has a small "rank" system that can hold one's interest for a little bit. However, it unfortunately doesn't take much time to get to max level. There are a plethora of challenges that can be fun to try and complete as well that go across all game modes. The weapon variety isn't anything to write home about but the game encourages you to use multiple weapons in each level via its scoring system. Enemy variety is worse with it mostly being the same throughout the game. The mechanized enemies and phase casters do make fights more interesting but there simply aren't that many. A negative aspect of the game is that the story isn't "bad or awful" it's non-existent. You run around shoot and look for the minimal secrets on each level mindlessly. You don't really find out much about the motivations for your enemies actions in any sort of narrative because that just isn't there. This is only made more evident by how short the game is. You can beat the campaign with both characters in less than 10 hours. The short duration and lack of narrative culminates in an ending that I still don't understand and gave up on trying to. The last thing is that the game's difficulty is low you can play on the hardest difficulty, "Insane", and still go through levels with only minimal amount planning or strategy. 6.5/10 I'd buy it again but it is the weakest title in the trilogy. The main character Point Man looks like the dad from Ice Age.

Not nearly as good as the first game but still worth it. There are some dark levels/ areas which create a surprising amount of suspense considering the age of the game. Arch Viles and Pain Elementals are some of the most annoying enemies I have ever encountered in a game and if I could remove them and substitute them with something harder like the machine gun spider I would. Ran into a few odd bugs (lifts and switches wouldn't work would have to relaunch) but that might just have been due to my system.

Great value for what you pay. Tons of fun and surprisingly challenging, secrets can be a bit hard to find. Don't see a way you could not enjoy yourself playing this game.

Great game! 10/10 would recommend non cannon as it is still a great game. Sorta like assasins creed with orcs.

So i just finished this game and it was truly amazing. Its a simple game with a handful of commands and simple tasks. Its also very short. (Finished in under 4 hours) but it makes up for it with amazing voice actors and an overall enthralling experience. Definitely worth the price in my mind its like playing through a movie at your own pace.

TL;DR Buy it.

A great game to kill time. Simplistic in nature and a great soundtrack make this game a blast.

Hate this game.
