Little Alice fell

the Rabbit hOle,
bumped her head
and bruised her soul

Down the hole or through the glass,
Where gold is naught but tinkling brass,
And dreams grow tall or short like grass
The days go by, but time won't pass.

"Who are you" I cannot say,
But tell me please, is this the way?
There was a way, but not today,
You cannot leave so won't you stay?

The hole is filled, the glass is shattered.
"No way out!! proclaims the Hatter.
Feel your heart go pitter-patter
And your teeth begin to chatter

Behind the glass she haunts me still.
The laughter fades..... I feel a chill.
Memories of childhood spilled
In wonderland i seek her still.
