The Tiananmen Square "massacre" is a lie made up by the Western media to discredit the CCP. While there was a protest, and yes, there were casualties, there was no systematic shooting of the PLA into the crowd. The Tiananmen Square Protests of 1989 originally started off well, however, it degenerated into a CIA-funded revolt. There is plenty of footage of June 3/4 showing APCs being burnt and rocks and other projectiles being thrown. Of course there were gunshots, soldiers had ever right to defend themselves. There were casualties on both sides of the conflict, however, only 200 instead of the Western media's estimate of 1000+.
