bunch of cool stuff
unlocked framerates, nice visuals, combat feels better etc etc
but it runs like ass (max 50fps outside on a 4070/5800X) and has unreal 5 smearing so no thank you

Besides the obvious problems of smearing and ghosting from all of these useless technologies and raytracing still looking like complete dogwater for a frankly unacceptable performance decrease, the developers also managed to completely mess up the visual style of the game as well with everything being too bright, characters and monsters looking uncanny, and weapon animations being overdone. Release the assets and let's leave each other alone

the fighting system of this game is good, love the close up combat, no brainless comeback mechanics.
Characters looks a little bland, but in their gameplay they are all unique.

Graphics are servicable I think, some could argue that a number of characters had better looking faces in the old game, but overall the graphics look good on the dragon engine.

I feel like the netcode has gotten worse since the open beta. I constantly have 100-150ms connections with people from Europe (I had around 40-100 in the open beta, and usually in other games as well). the game feels like it has some sort of extra input lag during online, some moves never come out with the same rhythm as they do in training mode.

Still, for 16 eur I think this game's a no brainer, at least fun for some button mashing, and maybe learning a little bit about the system.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ performance (4070, 5800x)

No proper antialiasing besides TAA which is awful to look at

DLSS/FSR is basically required to get proper FPS in the game, even though you can barely see enemies if the have foliage behind them, or they are behind fences, or have a dark bacground behind them etc. they get smeared

If you do manage to play without TAA and DLSS, then you are left with an aliased mess of a checkerboarded image, as there is once again, ONLY TAA in the game (funnily enough TAA isn't even under the antialiasing setting, it is under upscaling, which it is NOT, the antialiasing setting also btw does absolutely nothing) while Lumen still wrecks havoc on the game's lighting, flickering lighing and shadows on still props, windows shimmering when the actual illumination doesn't change

Bullet sponge mutants, enemies requiring two headshots out of an AK near point blank range, enemies respawing in front of your eyes, fire anomalies have insanely wide trigger zones, weather effects seemingly trigger randomly, I had half the map being noon and the other next to me completely pitch black

dont play this game

These games are slowly losing their identity. Ichiban is the most one dimensional character to ever exist, everyone is a little bit ♥♥♥♥♥, the environment looks honestly worse than most older titles because of the ♥♥♥♥ contrast, bad geometry and horribly bad lighting, the music is dogwater at best, the combat will NEVER be as good as old Yakuza brawlers, the side activities at this point are just straight up bloatware like the sujimon and stupid island whatever. I like change, I welcome it, but not when the result is worse than previous iterations.
