One of my favorite lifesims is now on Steam!
(I put it quite a few hours on the standalone, hence the short playtime on steam)

Does it have it's problems? Yes
Is it grindy? Also yes
Do I still love it? Definitely yes!

Look, it's not a perfect game by any means, it has bugs, progression can feel slow and grindy at times, but at the end of the day it's f2p with the only microtransactions being cosmetic clothes. I know that the "early access" gets thrown around quite a bit as an excuse, but it is still in development, and let me just say it has come a long way since the first alpha. It also gets consistent updates and communication from the devs, so just stay patient! :)

Overall it's 9/10 dabbing Tish from me.

Early Access Review
Just like in real life, it's safer to lock yourself inside your house and just avoid social interactions.

Man, where do I even begin with this review...

So a lot of the time I tend to gravitate towards multiplayer games over singleplayer, because if I have to choose between playing alone or play with my friends, I'd choose playing with friends.
Then comes Baldur's Gate 3, one of the *very* few singleplayer games that actually keeps my attention for more than a few hours. I find myself thinking about the game when I'm not playing, thinking about what adventures lies ahead, and when I am playing it, I find myself thinking about what my next playthrough is going to be..

I haven't been this hooked on an rpg since replaying Dragon Age: Origins. Speaking of which, if you ever thought that DA:O was amazing and wished they would have stayed closer to it in the sequels, let me tell you; this feels like a "DA:O 2". I mean that in the greatest sense -- your choices matter, and there are no right and wrong choices either. Sure, some npcs may disapprove of your choices and others could be considered "evil", but in the end it's more about what you prefer and you're not limited to what the game considers "good" or "bad".

I have also been interested in getting into DnD, and since BG3 is running the latest ruleset it's a good way to get familiar with some of the rules and abilities. Sure, it's not a perfect copy of the tabletop version, but it's pretty close for a video game.

My only "complaint" is that there isn't any in depth character customization, you get to pick between a few different face presets, but at least there are a ton of sick tattoos and hairstyles.

To sum it up before I ramble on any more; if you liked DA:O, if you like DnD or if you just like amazing rpgs, you will not be disappointed in BG3!

GOTY 2023, 10/10 dabbing beholders from me

Early Access Review
Been following this game for a long time and backed it on Kickstarter. Was really interested in the shenanigans and now finally getting to play it? Boy, let me tell you, they don't disappoint.

The story is interesting, the SHMUP and Turn Based Combat is fun and the conversations are quite hilarious.
The NSFW stuff is cool too I guess ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Do note that it IS an early access game, and so there will be bugs. The ones I have encountered are stuttering cutscenes and SHMUP bugging, but nothing gamebreaking so far.

Overall I highly recommend this game.
69/69 dabs from me.
