As I get older, I always wonder, if any game will impact me the way that Final Fantasy X did when I was younger.

This game finally did it.

Runs fine on my 2070. Legacy is still around if you have issues, play the old one until they fix it, migrate later. It's pretty simple.

I enjoyed the campaign and bosses. The gear-checks I even liked too. But I can't recommend the game where it is. The whole point of PoE1 is getting to mapping and I put some time into mapping on this game and it just doesn't feel good, at all. The affixes are random to the mobs now instead of your map/waystone giving you less control than ever. Builds seem a bit more boring on this iteration too. It might be great when it releases (just like the first one) but I would save your money until then.

I struggled the first 20 hours to understand how to survive in the cold. As I press onward to Scrapyard, I can say I've had a great time. If the event (snow) is still going, I would be careful getting in as a new player. Ask for help in chat or hopefully this review helps clarify it. As a new player we don't know what is "normal" and what is "new" at the supplier, unless the event person tells us about it.

Loving this game. Feels like a good extraction looter mixed with MMO and it translates to a great game.

Why don't you already own GTA? Stop reading this and buy it.

As it stands, I can't recommend this one. Like any MMO, it's fun to level to cap. Once you're there you'd better be DPS to get anything done. T&L completely misses the mark on the Holy Trinity (tank/dps/heals). I can't, in right mind, spend my time tanking in this community. Players posting groups are not willing to help/teach and dungeons/matchmaking just wasn't worth the time. If you're a longtime dungeon/raid guy, you probably won't love this one. This needs a lot of work IMO.
