Rick Astley: Thanks, it's great to meet you too! I'm always happy to meet fans.
Me: So, how did you get started in the music industry?
Rick Astley: Well, I've always loved music, and I started playing in bands when I was a teenager. I got my big break when I was discovered by a producer and signed to a record label.
Me: Your song "Never Gonna Give You Up" is such an iconic 80s hit. Did you have any idea it would become so popular?
Rick Astley: Honestly, I had no idea it would become as big as it did. It's amazing to see how it's endured over the years and become such a cultural phenomenon.
Me: What advice would you give to someone who wants to pursue a career in music?
Rick Astley: My advice would be to never give up on your dreams and to always work hard. The music industry can be tough, but if you're passionate and dedicated, you can achieve anything.
Me: Thanks so much for taking the time to chat with me, Rick.
