When I first played this game a LONG time ago, I thought it felt clunky and I couldn't get into it at all. After not touching the game for YEARS, some friends got me to give it another try and I can honestly say it's one of the funnest free to play games I've had the pleasure of playing. It's a grind, though. Lots of gear to level up to advance in mastery level, or lots of mods and parts to build things to farm for. If grinding isn't your thing, you may grow bored of the game after a bit.

My biggest gripe is a lack of really difficult content in the game. I wish there were more big boss fights that required more strategy, learning, and communication. There's a few "difficult" things, but they are still pretty easy compared to late game content in other MMO games.

Overall, still a great game and it's free, me like

As someone who doesn't really handle horror games too well, this games pretty scary at first, although in a very fun way! I've loved playing with friends so far and have had a good time. After a bit though, as other people may have said, it loses its scariness and just becomes raw ghost hunting. I find myself having a lot of fun trying to get my friends killed or doing dumb things in VR, lol. Great game!

Pros:
- Actually funny
- Nice story so far
- Pretty straightforward story while also offering the ability to mess around with the world as you like
- If you're struggling with some tasks in the game, it recognizes that and helps to steer you in the right direction
- Fast updates for day one bugs, devs for the game seemed fast to want to improve their game
- Great gameplay for the price, can't find much better at this price point

♥♥♥♥:
- A few day one bugs, they're fixed now but I still experienced them during my gameplay so I feel it's worth mentioning
- There's no meaningful way to replay the game outside of replaying the action bits. I don't consider this a true ♥♥♥ as this game is more about your initial experience, having fun, and messing around while you play through the first time, which it does extremely well.

I played Flavortown off of a Quest 2 on Link. My experience was very smooth and fun. Overall this is probably the best humor I've gotten out of a game in a while. At the game's price point, I consider this a great buy and would definitely recommend people pick it up and enjoy themselves for an hour or a few messing around with it. I'm sure you'll get a kick out of this game, and I'm sure some of the devs also got a kick out of making certain bits too. I have no regrets getting this game at all and look forward to the future episodes completely!

I originally had a blast on this game, as well as knew one of the people working the most on this game. He was full of promises and high hopes. I unfortunately change this review to negative, as there were tons of false promises that simply never came true and this game has been abandoned. It was a really fun concept and the first bit was fun, but there's very little that ever got released despite constant promises that another installation to this game was near completion and going to be released soon after the initial release. I do not recommend this at all, false promises and no follow up ruined this.

Extremely disappointing, a sham of a game.

I've been playing this game for years, and I've gotta say it's honestly the best community based game there is. You will not find a better game that has this much replay value for so cheap.
