There aren't many games out there that pull the 'Why the ♥♥♥♥ you crying so loud it's 3AM' card like this game does.

From the second I first booted up this game I knew it there and then.. I knew this game was going to utterly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ destroy me with it's god tier story telling..

With all that being said above I guess I should now talk about the combat: The combat was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horrendous considering the blade that I was wielding was literally like 2 pixels long and also the fact the game had no immunity frames upon taking damage.. but then I realised.. it suddenly hit me that the devs of this game intended to make the combat this hard because apparently they wanted to rival the difficulty of this game to a Dark Souls one. I highly HIGHLY respect their decision considering that the boss fights were most certainly difficult I mean I was flung into a horde of rabbits and lost about 4 hearts almost instantly.

Now moving onto the characters: Honestly the characters were all so well ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ written it literally makes up for the fact that the game was heavily inspired by dark souls, I thought of it like this - I had to go through hell fighting these boss fights however at the end of all these horrendous fights I was rewarded with new characters and some MAJOR plot twists like I'm talking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game changing plot twists that made me scream and fall out of my chair. (I'm writing this review with a sprained ankle btw)

Now.. probably the hardest topic for me to talk about: The ending.. the ending was truly something else.. the plot twist, the story, and the character development was absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ peak fiction, the final boss was so insane that I was crying while playing,, I even had to deal with a sprained ankle which made the dark souls level difficulty even worse considering the amount of pain which was going through my ankle, but finally after MULTIPLE attempts I was finally able to finish the game and reach the ending.

When the credits started rolling tears were overflowing and I couldn't help but cry, it was a good cry packed with multiple emotions such as happiness, sadness, anger and aroused. The ending alone is worth your money for sure! I highly HIGHLY recommend this game it's honestly peak fiction.
