I'm in love with this game. It has my favorite single-player mode of any Tetris game (Purify) along with very solid multiplayer offerings. At $29 it's a steal when you factor in how many hours of gameplay and enjoyment you'll get out of it.

Pros:
+ Devs that listen and are actively working on improving the game.
+ Cross-platform support between PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store), PS4/PS5, Xbox, Oculus VR and even Nintendo Switch in October.
+ A bunch of single-player modes outside of the typical Sprint, Ultra and Marathon
+ Multiplayer modes that are great for tournaments: NEStris style (Classic Score Attack), Guideline Versus (Zone Battle)
+ Can spectate matches going on, and it's easy to play with friends by providing room codes.
+ Proper matchmaking by skill rating
+ Amazing visuals and award winning soundtrack.

Cons:
- Would like to see additional options for sounds/graphics: Mino skins, background art, sound effect choices.

If you're a Tetris fan, I feel like this game has something for everybody.

This is one of the best official PC version of multiplayer Tetris to date, but has a few problems.

Pros:
+ Great sounds, graphics, and they're all moddable. Some people even added their own custom characters to the game.
+ Puyo and Tetris, 2 seperate puzzle games at a very reasonable $20 (cheaper than the Switch version).
+ Very strategic gameplay and fairly decent userbase
+ Replay support, online leaderboards
+ Can play on keyboard, joystick, gamepad, mouse, anything.

Cons:
- Matchmaking places you up against anyone, regardless of their rating. This can be very unforgiving for newer players who repeatedly match up against top players just to get demolished.
- No spectator support, so you'll have to use Steam share feature or stream your gameplay.
- Some game balance could use reworking, as some tactics are clearly overpowered and the Tetris vs Puyo matchup isn't very fun for either side.

Overall, it's a great game with flaws but you'll get plenty of hours of enjoyment from. Easy buy at $20.

This game had the potential to be really good, but Ubisoft dropped the ball on several key features.

- Can't change controls
- Little to no social aspect (unable to chat with or add players as friends on Steam)
- Lacking IHS/IRS features that many modern Tetris games use
- Matchmaking is just whoever joins the room first, rather than matched by skill
- No way to play against an opponent or friend 1vs1, so that rules out any head to head tournaments

There were a few things I liked:

+ Nice graphics
+ Gameplay felt well balanced. The balance of speed, unforgiving garbage, and attack strengths allowed for very strategical play. This would have been a good candidate for competitive tournaments if it wasn't for all the negatives.

Overall, not worth the $15 unless some of the missing features are implemented (which I doubt will happen).
