What we have got here is the Mark I Tank. It's actually the very first tank ever built, in 1916. And they were used for the first time in the Battle of Flers-Courcelette on the Somme on the 15th of September, 1916.

One of the absolute all-time favourites. A complete time waster that allows you travel Europe from the comfort of your custom semi.

Detail is on point for this game. Realistic looking and sounding prototypes of well-known European semi-trucks. Trucks feel torquey (as they do) and have proper weight in handling. Heavy cargo does play major impacts on performance in turning and speeding/braking.

Map is expertly designed and crafted, one of the best for simulators. Cities and highways are "shrunk down" to keep it fun and constant-moving but details are slightly less crisp and refined as the vehicle models. Guaranteed VR would make this experience all the better.

Ambience is amazing. Anything closer and I'd be driving a real truck. Road noise, collisions, the sounds of rain and radio music blend amazingly. Law AI is fair and punishes for joy-riding. Random occurrences like construction and road accidents feel natural and add some excitement to the long truck drives. AI is decent enough for "open world" games, but busses always seen to be hostile (for some reason) ;).

Menus are hard to understand at first, but become second-nature quick and are laid out in a clustered, yet organised matter.

Multiplayer Mod by TruckersMP gave new life to the game for me and allowed me to share this experience with my friends. Fun and usually ends in a devastating crash.

Overall, this is probably one of the best that Steam has to offer. I would never think that I would have such praise for a game part of an already bloated and often poorly-produced genre, but this masterpiece feels more like an extension of real life than a simple trucking simulator.

Well done SCS. Can't wait for the next one.
