Disclaimer: So far I've only just recently finished act 2, so I can't say much about the later game content.

Yes, the mechanics and rules can be intimidating at the beginning, some stuff really isn't even well explained in-game, which can be frustrating. Leveling is intimidating and a slog due to too many options. Also don't expect fancy cut-scenes or a level of polishment on a level of Baldurs Gate 3, as there are some jaggy graphical bugs consistently here and there throughout the whole game.

But once you've overcome the first inconveniences and accept some things as they are, you start recognizing that this game is beautifully made with an amazing and impactful story that keeps you on your toes and really challenges your own moral beliefs at times! I've rarely played similar games that made me as anxious about my in-game character's choices as rogue trader does so far - which is a good thing for a CRPG! Your choices WILL have severe consequences!

Besides that, if you're well familiar with the official Warhammer 40.000 lore, you also realize how well they respect the source material and how they even give the lesser known aspects of the universe well deserved spotlights.

All in all I think Owlcat really established themselves as an awesome studio that deserves respect for what they do and how they do it.

I'm really looking forward for what they'll produce next.

Binding of Isaac.

637 achievements throughout the base game and three DLCs in total.

Done.

1.500 hours of playtime since October 2015.

That’s almost 2,5 hours per achievement and almost 20 hours of playtime a month in average, over the timespan of 6 and a half years.

Good game.

If you are okay with outdated clunky close combat mechanics, bad inventory management and getting to where you have to like "a real person" (aka no fast-travel, no questmarker and you actually have to ask for directions for pretty much everything), you should give this old horse a ride!

This old gem has still one of the best lore and quest progression of any single player RPGs and the overall atmosphere while exploring the absolute unique world is absolutely worth the overall clunkiness.

If you can't deal with outdated graphics, you can still check out the various modding options, as the community still provides amazing improvements for pretty much everything you could think of!

Tried to make this work for over half an hour, game kept crashing in the menu.
Adjusting any game settings didn't change anything.
Absolute waste of time.

Endless content to explore with challenging difficulty, combined with a good sense of humor and great artstyle.

What can I say, I am a fan of games like "Sacred I" or "Dungeon Siege I", and have been searching for a great Hack&Slay title for ages since Diablo 3 was kind of a letdown, and then I found "Grim Dawn".

Even though the character creation seems a bit dull, this game has everything a good Hack&Slay game needs. Great visuals, nice and open skillingsystem, great level design, good loot distribution and appropriate difficulty (currently playing on veteran).

I am actually suprised this is not a full price triple A title, I can honestly say this game is worth twice the money for those who like the Hack&Slay genre!

No matter what I try, there seems to be no solution for the game-breaking audio lag, which is unfortunately common on PC and known for years.

Wer sich schon länger nach einem klassischen HackNSlay sehnt und möglicherweise von Diablo3 enttäuscht wurde, sollte sich definitiv diesen free2play-Titel anschauen!
