Finally diving in without watching any gameplay, I was able to experience it in all its unspoiled glory, and it truly felt like a love letter to the golden days when games had to be polished and fully complete right out of the box. The narrative, set in Hong Kong’s vibrant underworld, is gripping and expertly crafted, with plenty of action, martial arts, and a story that pulls you in.

The gameplay mixes intense melee combat, fluid parkour, and engaging story missions, giving it a unique flair that feels fresh even years after release. And the DLC? It adds a lot of fun and variety, with a few supernatural twists and unique scenarios that only boost the experience. Each expansion feels thoughtful, enhancing the base game with creativity that keeps you coming back for more.

Overall, Sleeping Dogs is a must-play for fans of open-world games. It doesn’t just hold up over time; it stands as a reminder of an era when games shipped complete, with love and care clearly poured into every detail.

Fantastic!!! I have played for only 10 hours ten hours and I can say that have been gorged by hordes and scared to death by jump-scare zombies in houses. However, its only been pure enjoyment. Art style is timeless. Love the UI. Would suggest to anyone to buy this. - Billy <3
