While the controls in 3/4 of the games can be a little frustrating, the level design is great and the story is fun!

i think the best possible endorsement of l4d2 is that i'm still playing it years after it was released. yes, your experience in-game relies a great deal on your teammates, but then again that's kind of the point, and if you're polite then typically speaking people will respond well. is it basically a really large dlc for l4d? yes. still really good. this is how real procedurally-generated gameplay works and it's still real damn excellent.
