This game feels like reverse transhumanism and I don't know how else to explain it.

CHOP CHOP CHOP

The game has potential if either its current- or some new -developers were to put their minds to it and take the risk of straying from what's already been done.

It's a game with history, and in its current state it sits as nothing but a time capsule of a game that inspired another, and it can become a much more enjoyable experience with some retooling.
I'm not saying it needs to be modernized (at least not aesthetically), but moreso that its interior needs renovation. Update its systems, make it more player-friendly, and suddenly you have a game that really holds the spirit of Source Sandbox while potentially garnering an audience of people who prefer the old school feel of, say, older GMod versions.

I recommend this game, not because in its current state it's fun to play or enthralling, but because it holds a lot of potential for the developers to create a game that feels new, but familiar, and create a place for a community that's growing distant from the game they once called home.

Good god, this game is wild, mate.

Good:
- Lore on top of lore on top of lore, jesus CHRIST.
- Humor is STUPID, and I love it.
- Mhmmmtitties......coochie............
- Space combat is very fun if you're terrible at video games like me (Don't know about otherwise, please advise).
- Voice acting, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dude.
- The music is GREAT 90% of the time. Very well produced.
- Most of the models are gorgeous and impressively well made.
- References are fun in this game, for some reason doesn't feel over-saturated but that could easily just be me.

Poor:
- Ground combat is a little sluggish, could be perked up with a few pretty easy tweaks
- SOME of the dialogue, especially early-game is bad. Quite bad.
- The music feels a little unfitting for certain scenes, though it's rare.

I would absolutely recommend if you like the humor of Borderlands, a lotta lore, and voluptuous tits.

My boys and I build robots that do nothing and we giggle at ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from add-ons. It's a good time.

The first porn game I've played where I was more invested in the story than the boobs.

I've played the original Half-Life more times than... a normal person should play through a single-player campaign, and I find that this is a very good updated version of the original. It's got a decent amount of artistic liberty that makes it feel fresh, while keeping its original style and fast-paced combat.
I've been playing Black Mesa since it was just a mod that was free-to-play, and it's aged very well. Can't recommend enough.
