So far, I've thoroughly enjoyed Wartales.

It has so much to it other than being just a strategic turn based game.

There's so many little touches, such as your companions approving or disproving what you name your animals - to quests and npcs that really make you think about what it really means to be a good or a bad guy (with the end result being morality is a huge shade of grey.)

10/10 would recommend.

Alrighty, don't pay attention to my timing of hours played, I'm almost done with the game, and I'm pretty sure that the hours played is the total a family member who's currently sharing the game in family view.

I literally have only the quests in The City of Locusts left.

Anywho, overall - I do recommend Wrath of the Righteous for anyone who enjoys isotropic titles. It very much gave me Baldur's Gate II Vibes.

I will warn you however, there is a super nasty bug in their crusader game mode, that is incredibly game breaking, and the only way I was able to pass it is by using cheat engine to change my morale stats.

Basically, there's an invisible unit on the map that doesn't physically spawn until 1.5 YEARS in, but they're still counted against Defense, and they will tank your morale eventually at -10 per day. I was sitting there for hours trying to figure out why I was at -79 when I specifically placed units at all of my captured forts to prevent demon armies to attack, but my morale still kept dropping.

So unless you're willing to take the risk of using a cheat engine like me, you might run into this bug - and when you hit -100, it's literally game over.

Let me know if you've encountered this problem, I can make a tutorial to fix it.

So I went into Atlas knowing the bad reviews and controversy - and despite all that the game itself is still pretty fun to play. The only two things in the game that I can't stand, and sadly one of them probably won't be improved on.

1. The predator spawn rate.
2. The community.

#1. As it stands right now, there are islands that are infested with animals that their whole purpose in life is to just kill you the moment your spawn. I don't know what possessed the creators of this game to have a whole herd of alligators and snakes making a chain wall around whole islands - but it's pretty annoying and makes some areas just completely unplayable. So watch out for that especially most of the desert areas.

#2. Lots of old Ark players have returned to play this which isn't a bad thing - but sadly it's the worst of the worst of the community. Be prepared to be screamed at for absolute nonsense and just in general being annoyed at other players - which is pretty counter productive in an MMO.

Overall I'll wait til I can open up my own server and can set everything to certain specifications and just play on that with friends.
