By far the best of the three games, this is truly how I envisioned the original to be. It's basically one big open level in which you can travel all around wherever and however you'd like. This means a good amount of exploration, interesting encounters, great sense of day vs. night out in the zone. I never felt like I was playing a game or playing through levels, but more of exploring, taking on tasks, etc. Also the gunplay mechanics are much better in this game than the others, and more lifelike/realistic characters and settings. I explore a decent amount and I played it for just over 30 hours, so solid amount of gameplay. I'd rank it as one of my all time top 10 games.
