Oh the servers finally shut down? F. Game got slept on pretty hard.

Can't log into my existing wot account from steam, so all the tanks and MT currency is useless on steam. Not a problem for new users I guess.

I hate myself for grinding 100% achievements. 10/10

If you have ADHD or are on the autism spectrum this game is probably going to do it for you.

Edit: Tripwire correctly canned the idiot CEO who decided to unilaterally destroy tripwires public image. Game is still C tier and easily something you can pass by without missing out on much.


I was content with leaving my 'meh' vote as a non-review, but finding out the CEO of tripwire is pro-life and thought it would be cool of him to torpedo the devs public image, I'll waste two minutes of my day to tell y'all to just give this game a pass.

Bloated, unoptimized game that was ten years out of date when it released and hasn't aged gracefully. You would imagine they would have tried to fix their broken netcode, or maybe added accessibility features for the colorblind, or joined the rest of the industry in having UI and Menus that look like they belong in this century but no, they added paid christmas skin DLC instead. If you are looking for something in this genre, you might as well go on the app store and search for ZOMBIE GAMES UWU and you will probably find something more worth playing.

The game is fun, if time intensive, but the community is incredibly toxic. Every time I have played the biggest thing that hampered my enjoyment was people being ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Everything from intentional teamkilling, to destroying vehicles/resources, players literally driving trucks behind enemy lines to pick up enemy soldiers and deliver them behind our lines. There is a really gross trend of people intentionally supporting the enemy team, or creating alts to do so. Loading up trucks of supplies and dumping them in the river. It's pathetic; and it's so widespread that I witnessed some form of severe griefing in every single play session. One of the factions even has a reputation for votekicking/banning new players so they don't have to deal with them. Insane.

years later update:
Decided to give it another try leading up to war 100. More or less all of the same problems from forever ago, just with new toys. The alting problem is so egregiously bad there are not words for it. It's a neat game, but give it a pass.
