It's aight.

I'm sure this game is great if you properly gert into it, but for beginers like myself, you run around lost and die....respawn, ah great and nice little bit of cove- nah. You got killed by some sniper 40 miles away.
if you want to get confused and waste your time, this gmae is perfect for you.

I first reviewed this close to when it first came out. It was a pretty scathing review and I uninstalled and didn't touch it for 4 years. I've gotten back into it lately.

A lot of the same problems are still there. There is A LOT of ways for players to piss you off, it is a very intense game that requires you to play it regularly to stay 'in shape'. Many heroes are easily played in ways that are easy to do, and difficult to play against. Orochi is a perfect example of this.

I could say a lot about the game- it has plenty of probelms (weird updates, ballancing issues, toxic community, terrible campaign the list goes on) but I'd prefer to keep this brief. Conceptually, the game is really cool. Mechanically, the game is cool. But this is not enough to redeem the game. It is hard to explain but it almost feels addictive, despite being a bit crap. I play mainly the duel gamemode which are short 1v1 rounds. The bigger, 5v5 game modes are boring. They're unoriginal and little to no teamwork is required.

This game is good for a few reasons, but it is bad for more reasons. Ubisoft tried something a bit different with this one, and it partially worked. Feels like the sort of trend setting game where future adaptations by different studios are better than the original - but this has not set any trends. There are better games out there for this sort of thing that will piss you off less.

A fun fast paced game, very enjoyable all round.

I have only played about a hour on this game and I cant wait to play it again. I highly recomend this game, five stars easy.
