I've already spent a couple of hours listening to music watching basic forms become amazing landscapes. Not for everyone but feels made for me. Its almost like I'm using the garden hose in my enormous sandbox i had when i was a kid to build dams and lakes in again. I like the way you generate the initial terrain by having two continental plates collide. Ever since i read jurassic park ive found the concept of fractals and emergent structures to be fascinating. This sounds like you too? you should try it. premium second one on the way with ice erosion and export features too.

I went in blind. I played it twice back to back. Racked up over 500 hours of playtime. Reminded me just how much I loved medieval things when i was a kid. I still have my big Steven Betsies incredible cross sections: Castle book. Grounded and realistic. Your are not the savior of the realm or a hero everyone knows. -for the most part your just a dude.-and the realm is a remote backwater a little behind the rest of Europe that is undergoing the renascence. I've never played a game that felt like the historical advisors had veto power about what is in it as this title does. from social structures of the medieval world to some very impressive historic architecture. Makes you realize a lot of what we assumed as medieval is really pop fantasy stuff made up in the last 200 years. Gave me an appreciation for the modern world a lot more too. Who wants to pay to visit a baths just to do daily shopping? It did ruin other so called historic games for me tho. Marketing this as an elder scrolls type rpg was a huge mistake. You play one dude. Henry of Scalletz -not a rpg character you create. Fans of the Bohemia Interactive Arma military sim series will recognize a lot of the voice actors.

Fun quirky game. Sound design could have used a little work. Dialog acting is also kind of minimal and the VO vol seemed low. Yet lots of character and style makes up for it. Simplified brawling combat is fun without being overly complex. 3rd person action. linear but interesting levels. Quite a few forgiving tombraider like environment climbing puzzles. Spectacle finishing moves are cool.

still the best of the ww2 as far as campaign goes. I wish more games had Taiko drum music. To get it to run I needed to toggle both low res mode and compatibility mode. Meaning set it one way, start game -will crash. Go back into windows compatibility change setting again. Click when game menu sound starts. nivida takes over resets game to hirez like normal. Next time you start the game, it will crash at start. re do the compatibility setting. 2x.

This would be a lot more fun if the game didn't randomly stop letting me change weapons when I use equipment like binocs or the skis. only fix is quitting the mission and reloading.

Just get the sequel. Unless you like frantic punishing gameplay that frustrates in the long run. My very first impression was that this was a ported phone game because of the things demanding my attention constantly. My biggest complaint is the game world size and time scales. Not enough time to set up a route and see if it works at regular speed even in manual pause mode for better planning. People say RE2 is stripped down and simplified - its not.

Colossal Order please re watch your own promotion video from 5 years ago by Justin Roczniak/donoteat01 and listen to what he says. That's what a good city simulation needs to be able to do, on top of being a good looking city painter.

Its a start but still has some odd design. I think the worst part is somehow its more sterile and overly clean felling than the first game. Shame on Paradox for pushing this out the door long before it was ready. Making hardware requirements this high end was a fundamental misread of your audience. City builders are traditionally played on mid range systems and laptops and by people who often don't prioritize cutting edge first person shooter/ action game graphics.

incompetent/deluded techno feudal post government 'sovereign', calatrava esqe architectural monstrosities made of 'white' or 'rederite', full on drone combat. It all seemed so silly when it came out, was actually ahead of its time. Too bad it has a broken confusing campaign structure that kinda sucked the fun out of the whole experience.
