The game is functional and fun for the few first runs currently, hoping we get some big updates that really change the gameplay with more fun and interesting items, but as it stands it feels like an early access version of isaac, if isaac was a match 4 game.

They fixed all the imbalances and problems i had with the multiplayer from the last games, unfortunatley they removed everything there is to care about the story. Making the story literally a mode for achievments and characters.
