The Stanley Parable is probably one of the best games I've played in a while. I'm not kidding. The delivery of every moment of the game was near-perfect. I enjoyed the break from a lot of the copy-paste gameplay of a lot of AAA games today. Having a nice, focused narrative experience in a video game was a welcome change, and I loved every minute of it.

Half Life 2 combines great storytelling and fun gameplay together in an integrated, tight package. I don't think I have to explain it, this game is pretty much a classic.
