Feels good to get back in the cockpit, 621.
While I dislike the Dark Souls bosses, the core gameplay is nice and polished. Everything is back to the roots and bar the very melee focused bosses and the stagger system, it's good to see all the old components back in play and to feel like a heavy lumbering mech when just walking around and then shifting into agile boosting, with guns and explosions galore.

Honestly one of the best games I've ever played, the story is fantastic and I rate it among games like Assassin's Creed 2 in the sheer enthrallment I had playing. A very long and engaging movie from start to end. I played on God of War mode and it never felt too hard, everything was doable but patterns on enemies had to be learned. One of the best sequels ever. 10/10

The nostalgia is strong with this one

Good game, it is quite a a step above in every way from Total Warhammer I (as I like to call it), especially after Mortal Empires has dropped. My only complaint is that learning the Vortex campaign's system was quite the terror, taking me nearly 400 turns before I finally finished it. I should have started with a normal game and not Kroq-gar's campaign on very hard. I was expecting it to be very similar in execution to a regular total war game, and so I got my socks rocked. Still enjoyable regardless and after starting a normal campaign with the High Elves, things work more expectantly. Fantastic model interaction and use of artillary with regards to the Lizardmen, who I feel I know in and out by now. Sotek is proud.
