Plays like quake, brings back the glory of old school shooters. You won't believe it's made with Unity. I hope the developers are proud of this game, they should be. All I want is more campaigns, more enemies, more weapons. Just. More. Dusk.

Read up on the timing issue. The port is bad. The original game is good.

Only con I could think of would be that the game could have used the characters folder to a much more extreme extent, giving many more storylines.

Dash movement feels wrong and limited to the 4 directions. The game has great potential but needs some more work for different comforts in VR. I wish I could give it a recommendation in the current state but I am unable to do so due to the cons.

Pros:
Awesome music, but I guess that was expected.
Triple A title in VR
Sound seems to work very well on which direction they're from compared to your head.

Neutral:
Doesn't feel like DOOM 4.

Cons:
Hands are positioned wrongly (angled) so to shoot straight you have to bend your hand unnaturrally downwards.

No free locomotion for users less prone to motionsickness. Still ok if we have to teleport into some locations, but it's lacking.

No resolution scale factor for supersampling.

No possibility to rebind keys on the controllers.

I can only say I hope they'll remaster Battlezone 2. This game is worth every cent you throw into it, both for nostalgia but also for the advanced strategic gameplay newer titles have lacked for years.

First off the game requires a controller, you can't play with a keyboard and mouse even if you prefer it. This is my main reason for refunding the game.

My second reason is that the game is not in any way as advanced as the old battlezone games. Honestly, it's a disgrace to the battlezone name - injecting VR into the old titles would be a lot more enjoyable as the advanced aspect of gameplay would still be there, and honestly the graphics are better than these "vector" graphics where textures are a thing of the past.

People should buy battlezone redux if they're interested in this title and doesn't care for the VR.

Fantastic visuals and smoothness makes for fast paced game that is skillbased. If you like hotline miami or other old school games with awesome music this will be a hit. It's worth it.

If you don't get a good round you will often end up spending more on repairs if you drive heavy tanks than you earn during a match.

Battle ratings will often get you into ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fights. Play simulator and it will be much more balanced.

Still a good game, but the developers must be earning loads on the golden eagles and pay 2 win things in the game. If they made a paid version without pay 2 win I'd definitely get that as the gameplay is great.

Can't be recommended even at 3.49 euros. Steam page portrays a whole different game compared to what it's really like.

First half of the game feels very linear and with no free will. Missions here were boring and felt like they locked you to play by the developers ruleset.

Second half of the game is actually quite fun after the radio towers are all changed and when you have crafted enough stuff to actually carry ammo and such.

The second island is where they did the missions right, no forced way of completing them.
