TL:DR - THIS IS THE BEST $60 GAME RIGHT NOW!!!

Coming from a 10 year Dying Light fan with thousands of hours.

Okay first of all, THIS is the best game out of the 3. (Not counting bad blood and companion app 😢) Techland cooked big time on this game. The story is there, the gameplay is amazing, the co-op is really fun, and most importantly its OPTIMIZED REALLY WELL!!! I didn't realize I was running dx12 until I checked my settings.
I play on a 3060 ti and I'm able to run the game on max settings 1080p at 60 fps WITHOUT DLSS.
This game is what Dying Light 2 couldn't be. It removed EVERYTHING disliked in dying light 2 and returned everything that was liked in Dying Light 1 and 2. All of the bugs seemed to be fixed already too, I haven't encountered any bugs since the 2nd day of release.

STORY - the plot and the writing is AMAZING. And the pacing is perfect. I wasn't expecting much with the story considering the first 2 games didn't do to well but this game is a big step forward it terms of EVERYTHING. The rising action and climax is the best part of the game imo. The soundtrack adds much emotion to it as well, might be the best soundtrack in the series. Only part I could criticize about the story is that the dialogue. It's a bit goofy and its pretty obvious that the characters are talking only for the player to understand them. And they tell the player everything after they just showed it. (Kinda like the Hunger Games novels. Remember show, don't tell.)
The Villain is easily the best villain in the series. (Obviously lol) But he is such a WELL WRITTEN villain. He's comparable to Judge Holden from Blood Meridian.

CO-OP - It's prime Fortnite. It's prime Dying Light 1. It's prime Black Ops 2. It's so much fun to play with your friends, it isn't buggy and unreliable like Dying Light 2. DEFINITELY GET THIS GAME if you have 2-3 friends that are buying it too. Playing the story together and completing the game in general is peak gaming. This game will create memories just like Dying Light 1.

THE GAMEPLAY - It's like Dying Light 1 and 2 mixed together. The hospitals are gone (THANK YOU) and the copy and paste buildings from the last 2 games are NO MORE. There's so much stuff you can explore when your just running around anywhere. The progression is also the best its been in the 3 games. Idk about standard or story mode I played on brutal difficulty. The character levels are back, but its like Dying light 1 and 2 mixed together. Surprisingly tho, there's like 110 biter models, but it doesn't feel like there's that many. (Does it really matter when you're dismembering them?)

THE NIGHTS - Perfect. The nights are scarier than the first game. THE ONLY PROBLEMS I HAVE WITH THEM (techland I hope your reading this) IS TO ADD MORE NIGHT TIME EXCLUSIVE INFECTED. Volatiles are cool owning the night, but adding 2 or 3 more infected that are exclusive to the night will add more to the chaos which will increase fear factor. Adding the chimeras to just roam in the night will be perfect for this. But even without that, the chases with volatiles are amazing. They're actually a danger, and theres multiple varients of them. (biomarkers are gone too, THANK YOU TECHLAND) Some people are saying the nights are too easy, but idk what they're talking about, nights on brutal difficulty isn't for the weak.

I can definitely see myself getting near 2k hours on this game in a year. AND I'LL SAY THIS AGAIN, THIS GAME WILL CREATE MEMORIES LIKE DYING LIGHT 1!!!!!!!
