ESDF controls
Control the fox with ESDF or IJKL instead of WASD. This way, your fingers are already at the right position to type AND you can keep the control scheme you are used to. To change that setting, go to options -> Gameplay and set Keyboard layout to ESDF

Fantastic game! The graphics may be bit dated, but the story and characters are superb. Take the weekend off and play though this game, or at least play it for longer periods of time. It's a game that get's under your skin (in a good way) and has a lot to offer, if you let it into your heart and err stuff :S
