SUPERHOT IS THE MOST INNOVATIVE SHOOTER I'VE PLAYED IN YEARS!

In all seriousness, SUPERHOT really is a fresh take on shooters, it is great for people who can appreciate a game for its enjoyable mechanics and gameplay, and don't need a fully fledged story and GPU taxing graphics (although the story/lore is spread throughout the whole game, including secrets, minigames and the likes, and the purposely simplistic look is still quite aesthetically pleasing).

You don't beat the game when you're finished with story mode, it's more of a primer to the arena and challenge modes, the latter of which take the story levels for a spin and introduce new features and limitations, forcing you to change up your playstyle. The Endless aka the arena mode is just killing red guys. As many as possible. With constantly spawning reinforcements.

This game is obviously not for everybody, whether you'll enjoy the experience or not will depend on your expectations and attitude towards it, if you like games like Hotline Miami, and/or are a completionist, SUPERHOT is definitely a good pick for you. And if your satisfaction of hitting insane shots, slicing through dudes with a katana and watching the real-time replays of your slow motion killing sprees barely drops after thousands of kills, you'll know you have received the signal.

A lovely crafted survival game that managed to escape Early Access and is all the better for it.
Set in a frozen post-disaster wilderness, with enthralling atmosphere, appealing artstyle and regular updates. Now with an episodic story-mode.
