Really great game, though it feels like act 2 of a trilogy that hasn't been completed.

Excellent game, holds up even 10 years later!

A Total War game that really scratched my strategy itch since Medieval 2. Be sure to play with the Divide et Impera mod, it adds a ton of complexity to the game with historical accuracy in mind (in a very good way). I have 240 hrs in and that's a single campaign with Athens. I'm sure I'll go into it again some time in the future.

Absolutely love it! Reminds me of DA:O. The world feels like a hand crafted miniature D&D tabletop. Amazing detail. Really fun gameplay and a story that at least till now don't know where it will lead. I'm 70 hrs in and I feel I could go easily another 100. I really love when I can get lost in a game like this!

Edit [8 June 2024]: changing my review to negative, game is pretty much unplayable due to the bot epidemic

The best RPG I've played in recent years. Incredible immersion and attention to detail and historical accuracy. A few bugs are present but updates are rolling out often.

Btw steam shows only 5 mins on record but I've actually finished the game.
