As for the difficulty complaints- sounds like a skill issue.

There are some things I'm figuring out still with balance and the depth of the racing, but the game itself is great, and worth giving a try.

I got this from the humble bundle and tried it out on a whim, and ended up liking it a lot more than I was expecting. It's fun, relaxing, has a clear skill curve where you can actively feel yourself improving as you go, and has plenty of replayability since it's a roguebike.

This is becoming my game to play a little bit of every day as I talk to friends in discord or listen to podcasts, since it doesn't take a ton of focus most of the time and it's a great way to occupy yourself when your attention is partially elsewhere. I would absolutely recommend at least giving it a try for those on the fence- at the very least, you'll definitely be able to tell if you like it or not within the refund period.

Didn't require Epic Games Store downloads and connectivity when I bought it. Does now. Trash.

There are a lot of complaints about a myriad of issues in the feedback, and I won't try to cover what others have already covered better.

In its current state, I can not recommend this game. I can ignore almost every issue people bring up except for the main one: the auto-target system. It's disorienting, switching doesn't always work on keyboard, and it often makes you attack targets that are very inefficient (i.e. attack tank-class with a sword that is away from a crowd rather than slashing through the whole crowd at once). The thing that caused me to call it was when I couldn't tell where lasers were coming from due to not being able to look around and when they finally caught me mid-animation, I got annihilated in the blink of an eye.

Change to make free-aim available, default to LMB for main weapon, and maybe make movement a little less clunky, and I will absolutely recommend this game. The systems aside from combat have all had a lot of work put into them, and I would love to play this game if it becomes just a little bit more realistically playable. Everything else is a minor annoyance that can easily be overlooked by fans, but the auto-target is the single thing keeping the game from being popular at least among the fanbase.
