This is one of my favorite games. It is a lot of fun and interesting. The mechanics are nice and comparing to other Paradox games it is easier to understand and is not that hard. The downside are the missing features like espionage. If you buy this game at its full price you NEED to play with mods. The mods add a lot of flavour to the game. Some add features, but others change the game and even add some features from other Paradox's games or completely change how you play the game.

The first game I played was without mods. It was the first one so it was quite fun. After the first game I understood that you need mods to make this game not repetitive and fun.

Over all it is a nice game. But playing with mods is a necessity.
