Honestly, this is one of the few games I find myself coming back to among my 120+ games in Library, many including "Top Sellers" and other incredibly popular games. It has one of those 10/10 "replayability" type of feels to it, as it's quite fun even if you're a work in progress in regards to learning the physics- Even if you're having an off day, it really doesn't leave you terribly salty as other games do if you lose a few as you can jump to a different gametype and cool off.

Rocket League is one of the best, and possibly the most active communities via both Dev's and players as they update it, but JUST enough (Not too many [ARK], not too few) They recently released an update for the map Aquadome, in addition to a new Vulcan car, and just have an amazing variety of cars, wheels, trails, toppers, and other items to collect/showoff.. On top of top of how polished these patches are compared to ANY other game I've played, they've even added Steam Workshop to allow users to create new maps and gametypes themselves which has amazing potential. (Heck, even simple racing games may go obsolete in an aspect if properly done!) New gametypes/maps are still added, such as (but not limited to) Rocket Labs, Hoops, Experimental, and my personal favorite Rumble.

This game requires patience, skill, and teamwork; although it absolutely pays off when you're capable of flying around the map for Aerial hits, Hat Tricks, and Demo'ing other players. The community isn't very toxic, although there's the occassional "What a save!" spammer or two in games whom are now easily reportable with the new system. I honestly don't think I can cram everything about Rocket League into a single review, but for only having 185hrs~ played on this game, every minute has seemed more fufilling (and in some ways, rewarding as drops are completely random and can have unique attributes!!) then most other games I've played in a while. I'll even admit I've splurged on this game without ANY hesistation or regret on many car packs as well as cases, which seems to have a fair drop rate for loot.

As I can't summarize how much I truly enjoy this game without going on long tangents, this is just an incredible game that is capable of being played on crossplatform consoles/PC's and is STILL AMAZING; apparently one of my friends on PC even uses a Steam Controller and prefers it. Regardless, Rocket League has really just been fun in all game types, whether you're playing Competitively or just Casually, it offers a wide variety of gametypes. Rocket League is fun for really all ages, and although it may require a bit of time to acquire the skill necessary to play it at high ranks, it is one of the few "Nonviolent" games that exist that are replayable. Seriously consider to yourself how few games out there don't contain violence in some form, whereas Rocket League's worst is blowing up an opponent via Demolition which has a quick respawn for the player. Personally, I find most Demo's to be funny in most cases, even if I was the one to be destroyed myself. If I were to go into anymore detail at this point, I feel I should start a book, or more realistically, create a Youtube Review video which I may attempt at some point. The ONLY downside I can think of is most likely my own issue, which is players are a bit more limited at later hours if you have limited Regions selected, however as I said, it's my issue as... I probably shouldn't be searching for matches at 3 AM in the morning.

TL;DR- Buy this. Especially if it's on sale. Rocket League is just an incredible game for all ages that is highly replayable and offers a unique experience as it also has crossplatform gaming that WORKS and just an amazing team of Dev's and community. You may not be the best at first, but this is one of the few games where the challenge of Competition is actually fun and you can learn at your own pace. The community doesn't suck as well since most people use preset commands, and reporting players is possible after the match so it's pretty tame. Listen to your favorite rev up music, toss on your favorite gametype and get in this game already!
