So let's say you are a fan of the first game or you've never played Half-Life
and you wanna experience it with Up-to date graphics and Sound-design.

In both cases I'd say buy this.
It's a great remake.

Only downside for me was that they could have implemented a few more achievements for my taste, but that's more of a nitpick..

I'm looking forward to playing Xen when they finally release it!
