Its been 400 hrs and i still can't get over how cute mini Silver is. Can't wait to see where this project will go with future updates. Truely a reflection of Silvervale the vtuber she is based on. Whether minivale is angry, happy or sleeping she is always adorable. I love including her in all the games I play when taking screanshots or reaching achievements. Maybe she will become the next bdo tapping ritual! XD

I highly reccomend trying her out if you haven't, even if you are just a random andy on the internet. Lots of fun to play with and mess around with. Would love to see more outfits, styles and integrations in the future, but for something that is literally free it is already really amazing. Personally I'd love to see a swimming activity where she transforms into her Axolotl mermaid form.

Really liked playing on an island trying to make a fortress to survive against things.

Really fun game! Wish I was better at it so I could help support my friends in it instead of messing things up. XD

When I first played this game it was still kinda in beta I believe and I had felt like it was a waist of money with how badly it glitched out. Now don't get me wrong, the game is still insanely glitchy in some zones specially on console. However, its gotten really good and I still enjoyed it despite some of the issues I had with it. In my next playthrough I am gana take my time more and try an figure out more of the lore and story. My favorite part tho is the free building, open world, and resource gathering.

Can never get tired of playing this game! Probably could be it another 100 times and never get bored. Highly recommend to anyone who likes interesting combat, fantasy, and choosing you own path adventure game. This game changes based on how much good or bad you do or how you style yourself. It also allows you to buy out entire areas of the map and mess with the economics to make gold an progress in the game. The story is fantastic, characters interesting, and a fun progression system.

Considering the game is in beta the optimization is not quite where it should be an definitely has a long long way to go. However, as is this game is still fantastic. Unlike rust or ark where you can't dig underground and your structures will always eventually decay into nothing. Val has a shelter mechanic that protects you and your structures and though the underground is not completely excavatable and you can only go down so deep in any where. It still offers far more world customization than the other two as well as unturned or 7 days to die.

The main things I feel like its might fall behind on in comparison to other sand box game is the pvp mechanics in being able to destroy structures or building structures out of higher grade materials. Something that seamed to be getting improved on with the implementation of hearth and home update. I am very excited for future updates of this game and just how much it will have to offer in the long run.

It does not have the same lvl of world customization as say Minecraft or its clones. However the gravity mechanics in the game often make for far more interesting builds than in mc. the crafting and knowledge system of the game also makes it very rewarding to go out and explore. Something I feel mc has lost over the 10+ years its been out. Saying that games like mc or starbound still have far superior auto mechanics and machines which can make the game far more enjoyable and interesting.

As is you need mods to add much of say the character, mechanical, or practical customization the game is still sorely lacking. Often to implement these things you need mods which yes are great, Thing is its non optimized game with non optimized mods and that just leads to a whole lot of trouble. So far I like the taming mechanics in comparison to ark though with either I really wish there was a way to automate things to the point that you can wake up one day an all your pets are dead cause you did not put food in a bin cause irl got crazy.

So final thoughts, Terrain control okay, but clunky. Still puts it above most sandboxes that have 0 Terrain control. Taming and automation, honestly so far I like it, but hope they add much, much more possibilities and avenues. Even though I think many of these things are unintended features. For example how monsters like killing each other an you can use that to farm free loot from a lot higher bracket than you currently are in the game. The crafting and building, Love it, very well executed. Hope to see it expanded on in the future!

Bdo is probably one of the best if not the best mmo I have seen and its a one time pay game, no monthly subscription required. There is pay for convenience, however its not required and very much a choice. You don't have to pay to enjoy the game and since your often getting it for free or only paying 1$ for the game since its constantly on sale. So paying slightly extra for something is not all that big a deal if your used to other mmo.

Financial stuff out of the way I have probably never play a game with a more enjoyable combat system aside from Monster Hunter World. Which you can't really pvp in. Like any game there is some amount of toxic pvp, but ftm part its not that big an issue. Guilds and parties make the game fun to play with friends or just go adventuring in parties, doing quests/dungeons. Its has world bosses, a rewarding lvl system and you can get burned out if you go too hard trying to progress in the game. I personally switch to life skilling when I want to relax an not put in any effor which allows you to still progress in the game.

I have essentially uncountable hours so of course I am gana suggest the game. If you are worried about time sink then you can life skill if you get bored of that you can do combat and pvp. The game has something for everyone so my advice is get it for free or on sale, maybe with a friend. Go through and try it out. if you don't like it then you have not lost anything.
