On 15 August 1943, an invasion force of American troops landed on Kiska.

29,000 Americans and 5,300 Canadian troops landed on the island on 15 Aug and 16 Aug, respectively, supported by a powerful fleet centered around three battleships and a heavy cruiser and 168 aircraft

For 2 long days, the invasion force slugged its way inland through thick fog and against the constant din of machine-gun and artillery fire. Rumors spread of casualties, firefights, and elusive Japanese snipers circulated with abandon. The Destroyer, USS Abner Read sank.

The invaders landed to find the island abandoned. In fact, the Japanese forces had left two weeks earlier. The Army Air Force had chosen to bomb abandoned positions for almost three weeks.

Please tell me im not. Before walking into this game you need to understand that this game is STORY DRIVEN. If you play this game hoping to play another Dark Descent, you will be disappionted. But to summarise my thoughts here we go:

PROS:
- Fantastic Story
- Terrifying atmosphere
- Brilliant Music and Sound
- Awesome and fitting graphics
- Brilliant Build up and Tension
- One of the best psychological Horrors.

Cons:
- Poor Gameplay (Game is more of an experience than a 'game')
- Little Challenge
- Can be short
- Lack of Custom Stories
- If you're expecting Horror similar to Dark Descent, you will be disappointed

In summary if you're expecting and wanting a game like the Dark Descent, I don't recommend it. However if you're open to a horror game which plays out more like an experience, then buy this game.
