Ok. Back in the day, TheHunter classic was one of my favourite games, it still is somewhere there on my top games list. When i first heard that they were making another TheHunter i was hyped as hell. With a one time purchase "TheHunter" title, where could you go wrong? Well... I think you guys know where I'm going with this.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great game! There are pros, but ofcourse there are also cons. Lets take a look shall we?

Pros:
-One time purchase and no microtransactions
-2 huge ass maps that you can't fully explore because they're so big
-Don't have to buy licenses to shoot animals
-Plenty of guns to rank up and save up to
-Good looking (and I mean really good looking) graphics and gorgeous scenery
-Decent amount of species to hunt in various locations of the map

Cons:
-Already a DLC in early access (rly...?)
-Animal behaviour 1 (can see you running through a moutain which spooks them even though you're not close)
-Animal behaviour 2 (Animals glitch and just stand still, making me feel like im in one of those "black beatles manican challenges"
-Game seriously needs optimizing
-Need a seriously good pc to run the damn thing
-No camera (not that I know of anyways)
-Don't get exp or money from shooting rabbits :(
-No birds to hunt in the game yet but hopefully in the future
-Buildable Towers cost money to build?
-leveling system is a pain in the ass if trying to grind to get higher level equipment
- Crashes frequently
-Glitchy (I saw a deer fall out of the sky one time and landed without a scratch = Super-Deer i know, i know...)
-Good luck finding friends that are interested in getting the game :)
-Multiplayer is glitched and cant join peoples games

The list goes on, trust me...

What I'm trying to get at is that the game is really bugged, needs optimization and in my opinion, wasn't worth the 37 dollars to play the game in its current state, And don't get me wrong, the game is a huge improvement from TheHunter Classic, but at the moment, it isn't all that. I'm not giving up on the game, not at all, because there is lots to come updates which will make the game 10 times better for every patch.

In conclusion:

Yes, there are a lot of cons about the game, but its fun to play and honestly If I were you guys, I would give it a try, and if you dont like it, then just get a refund and buy Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, oh how I wish i got that instead... But Oh well, what can you do when you spend the first 3 hours ingame trying to figure out why the resolution won't set or why you're getting 25fps on minimum settings :)

Probably the best military simulator out there,but can be used to do so many different things, turn it into a TDM and play "king of the hill", play survival gamemodes such as Wasteland, Exile and epoch. Even though it might require you emtying your pockets, its deffinalty worth it! Only things that bother me is that some admins ban you from their server, but because of the shared ban list, you end up getting banned from a heep ton of them... Final thing is that it can get really laggy at certain points or in certain areas, and i think it's because of the engine... All in All, the game is great and i have a blast playing it!
