CHICKEN ALFREDO FROM DOMINO'S STORY:
It originally started as a joke from an old friend asking his sister to bring him chicken alfredo. He didn't say from where, and it was out of nowhere while we were in game, so I turned in into a joke about him wanting it from Domino's. After that day I kept making jokes about "Chicken Alfredo From Domino's", and about how much my friend loved it, despite him never even trying it. A while later, I decided, you know what, I am going to settle this joke once and for all. I wanted pizza, Domino's was the closest option (not to mention being a piece of the pie rewards member grants you amazing deals which you should take advantage of), I decided the time has come. First, I chose the $6.99 Mix and Match offer (which is so value, seriously, try it next time), then put my signature medium pizza order: Extra Hearty Marinara Sauce, Normal Cheese, Extra Olives, and Pie Cut. You can guess what I added to my cart next. That's right, I went to the "Pastas" tab, and selected the "Chicken Alfredo". A crucial note here is to make sure you select "Bread Bowl", as without the bread bowl, you will have a lame pasta in an aluminum foil plate/bowl thing. I made sure that the "Premium Chicken" was selected (as there is an option to select "none"), then placed my order! I was excited to try the meme that I created, and even let my friend know that I had ordered it. He, of course, didn't respond because he never responds to my texts (still doesn't to this day :( ). Once my Domino's App notified me that my order was ready, I left to go get it. I was half scared and excited to try it for the first time, as I was thinking what everyone else would think, "How is pasta from a pizza chain going to taste good? This was definitely a horrible idea." Once I got to the Domino's, I told them my name, and that I was picking up my order. They handed me my food, then I paid and went back home. Once I got home, I opened the box for the first time, and it's safe to say I was flabbergasted by the aesthetic look of the bread bowl. It looked so creamy and juicy and delicious, and I was very surprised. But, I wasn't quick to judge, I knew I had to taste it first to know whether or not it was actually good. Since it was my first time, I wasn't sure how to approach it. "Should I cut it into slices and eat it like a pizza? Should I eat the pasta first then eat the bread after? Should I blend it up into a smoothie then drink it?" These were all methods going through my head, but I settled for cutting it and eating the slices like a pizza, as I was a newbie and thought this would be the best way. [Detour: I later found out, the next time I ordered the chicken alfredo bread bowl, that it is best to slowly eat the inside of the bowl, then as you eat it, eat pieces of the bread with it, so that you taste all flavors at the same time, including the delicious garlic bread mixed with the creamy alfredo sauce and chicken.] Although I didn't eat it the proper way, it still blew my mind on how tasty it was. I could ramble for paragraphs on how the creaminess of the sauce compliments the bread, and how the semi-crunchy penne pasta compliments the saucy chicken, but I will save whoever is actually taking time out of their day to read this some time. The moment I took the first bite, I was so stunned that I didn't even flinch for a minute straight. My mouth, tongue, and brain were all simultaneously processing the flavors and textures of the chicken alfredo bread bowl, and I was left shocked. The next 10 minutes were me enjoying the rest of the chicken alfredo bread bowl, as it slowly started to fade with each slice and bite. After it was finished, I didn't even eat a slice of pizza, as I was very full and didn't want to ruin the lovely after-taste in my mouth, with a pizza after-taste instead. After that day, I have since been in love with the Chicken Alfredo From Domino's, which is why I have made my username in every online account Chicken Alfredo From Domino's, or when the characters don't allow enough, it will be Chicken Alfredo. Let this be your inspiration/sign to try the Chicken Alfredo From Domino's next time you get Domino's, and be sure to become a piece of the pie rewards member (if you are not already) to save big, and taste big!
