The upcoming summer movie release list is highly encouraging and mostly for one reason. "Jon" the story of how a boy became a man and a man became a hero is absolutely enthralling. The titular character, played in a chameleonesque manner by James Gandolfini really captures the attention and care of the audience. Roaming around the streets of Hertford, a young Jon is taken in by Fiddler O'Tracy (Kevin Bacon) , a notorious conman and mother of three. It is from Fiddler that Jon learns his trade and is set on the path to follow his adoptive mother. This is until the law steps in, when Detective Chief Inspector Horace Scuttlebrow (Jim Broadbent) breaks up the conman ring and takes Jon for his own. Via Botany classes and Long Division Mathematics, Jon discovers both the meaning of life and why socks always go missing. A truly masterful movie and I recommend seeing it as soon as it's out.
