Like countless others, I overlooked this game until hearing enough positive reviews from other people who overlooked it to take hold. I grabbed it on sale for £3-something with the DLC, and played 12 hours within the following 48 hours. Addicting, relaxing, satisfying - there's something ingenious tucked inside this deceptively simple game. Brilliant stuff

Update - after nearly 140 hours and basically finishing the game before the last couple DLCs, I continue to be drawn back to have a run here or there on this game. It is one of my favourite games of all time. I've tried some of the clones and there are some good ones, but this game with the depth of its art style and variety and creativity and utter delightful, dark comical weirdness ... it's an exceptional piece of work. It deserved the BAFTA it won IMO.

Early Access Review
This game is absolutely glorious. I have been playing it since it was a non-steam BETA you had to add on, and I've been so impressed with it, I bought it and have been playing it again.

Half Life was the reason for my first 3d accelerator back in 1998, the reason I built my first custom gaming rig. It's unequivocally my favourite game of all time, and holds a deep and powerful nostalgic place in my mind.

The care, love, and grace with which the developers of Black Mesa treated the original source material is 2nd to none.

This is a *MUST OWN* game for anyone who cares for the classics, of which Half Life is an absolute juggernaut. 10/10.

A glorious modernisation of everything which made RCT such a great & addictive game back in the day. Beautiful creative mechanics open up a wealth of gameplay, the management side is a little flimsy but still requires thought when building & expanding whilst your park is open. The gameplay is focused, kitschy in all the right places, & beautifully designed.

Be warned, an epic sandbox will take all the CPU horsepower you have. I was cruising at around 11fps on my biggest park thus far (10+ coasters, ~2- rides, >7.5k guests). It was all CPU holding me back. That said, my i5 3470 @ 3.9ghz, GTX970, 8gb DDR3, SSD/HDD got 35fps min & 45 fps avg, Ultra at 1080p, with a "regular" map.

The MetaCritic reviews are spot on. This is an 8.5 or 9 out of 10 game IMO. Highly recommended
