The Dog Ran Past The Tree. A short story. The dog ran past the tree. He was looking for his owner but he was nowhere to be found. The dog was sad and was whimpering he loved his owner. The dog sat by this tree for a very long time hoping his owner would come by. Many people saw this dog sitting at this tree daily wondering why he looked so sad. A few days turned into weeks and then months and still nothing. After years of this dog sitting at the tree all by himself he sadly passed away.
