This is an extremely fun game to play with friends. The atmosphere is fantastic, enemies look fantastic, and the actual shooting and gameplay is mechanically rewarding, fast paced, and fun.

Regarding the atmosphere, which is my favorite part of this game, everything from your walk to the different rooms you would encounte are extremely immersive leading to a very fun experience. You are in a massive clunky suit so with every step you take there is a satisfying metal clunking and your camera shakes as it would if you were actually walking around in the suit in real life. Furthermore, the different rooms you encounter are very well thought-out by the design team for this game. For instance, in the first mission there is a large church room that features echoes, an open sound-scape, and a large bell in the middle that reacts perfectly to any bullets that hit it (for fun, get an Assault Cannon and open fire on the bell). In the second mission there is an engine room with absolutely massive engines in it and it generates a loud monotous and mechanical hum that drowns out team communication exactly like a real engine room would. It sounds fantastic and is close enough to the true noise that it remains firmly immersive without becoming annoying.

There is a multitude of classes and guns usable with each class featuring spells to help you in combat. Some are utilitarian, some are supportive and healing, while other classes feature cooldowns to increase shooting speed or mage-like damaging cooldowns.

There are a plethora of amazing melee weapons that have satisfying and heavy-feeling swings.

Laslty, all of the levels feature an amazing amount of small details that are a joy to find from quotes on notes on the walls to binary codes on digital display screens that actually translate into interesting messages.
